Photo Exhibit Gives Animal Rescue Statistics A Face

Photographer Susan Sabo will be featured in a powerful new exhibit opening Friday, May 2 at the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association, 4313 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach. Part of the Long Beach First Fridays events, “This Is Who We Are: Photography by Susan Sabo” is a collection of photographs of shelter and rescue dogs in need of homes. Volunteers and representatives from various shelters will be there to answer questions and provide information. Prints are available for purchase, with 10% of proceeds going to the dog’s shelter, donated in the buyer’s name. Sabo also offers a portrait-session discount to anyone who adopts a shelter or rescue animal. Walk for the Underdog

500 “top dogs” from loving homes parade through the streets of L.A. with their humans, to raise money for the “underdogs,” who await rescue.
